Brass Stop Valve(Globe Valve) Series
Globe Valve/Stop valve, also known as shut-off valve, is one of the most widely used valves.
The opening and closing parts of stop valve (globe valve) are plug-shaped disc. The sealing surface is flat or conical. The disc moves linearly along the center line of fluid. The movement form of the stem, (common name: Non rising stem), there are also lifting rotary stem, (common name: rising stem) stop valve is only applicable to full open and full close, not allowed to adjust and throttle.
Structure of stop valve:
The structural forms of stop valve body are straight through type, straight through type and right angle type. Straight through type is the most common structure, but its fluid resistance is the largest. The once through fluid has small resistance, and is mostly used for the fluid with solid particles or high viscosity. The right angle valve body is mostly forged, which is suitable for the stop valve with smaller diameter and higher pressure.
